Transition Events

Upcoming Events:

West-Central Independent Living Solutions would like to invite students aged 16-21 to our Pre-employment Transition Services Summer Camp. In order to be eligible to attend the summer camp, the student must have a physical or mental impairment. The purpose of the camp is to prepare students for post-education community living. During the week long camp, the youth transition team will teach classes on budgeting, employment related services such as interview tactics and resume building, and other useful independent living skills that are necessary for independent living in the community. Parents or Guardians who are interested in signing their youth up should contact Skyler Marner by phone at 660-422-7883 or by e-mail at to schedule an appointment to complete our intake process. The program is completely free to the student. The camp is a week-long and lunch will be provided at no cost each day. For more information, please refer to the attached flyer. At this time location of the camp is still to be determined and we will update parents and guardians closer to the camp. We are looking forward to meeting your students!
