Creighton Collier, Head Coach

Creighton Collier enters his second season as the Warrensburg Cross Country Head Coach. This year will mark his fifth year as a Warrensburg Tiger. He teaches American History at Warrensburg Middle School.

Coach Collier attended the Warrensburg R-VI School District his entire life. He graduated from Warrensburg High School in 2012. While in high school, he competed for Coach Dan Plott in cross country and Coach Steve Marr in track, earning Varsity letters all four years and received All-Conference and All-District honors. He was also a member of the 2011 Cross Country State Championship team his senior year.

After high school, Coach Collier attended Northwest Missouri State University where he pursued a degree in Secondary Social Science Education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from NWMSU in 2016. Coach Collier is currently pursuing his Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree from NWMSU. Though he did not compete in college, he continues to be an active runner and supporter of distance running.

Jerry Crouse, Assistant Coach

Jerry Crouse enters his sixth year as WHS Cross Country Assistant Coach. This is his eleventh year at Warrensburg High School. He is one of the high school counselors.

Coach Crouse is originally from central Florida. He graduated from Bridgewater College (Virginia) with a degree in Economics in 1979. As a Bridgewater Eage, he competed for Coach Harry "Doc" Jopson in cross country and track for four years.

Coach Crouse is married to Becky Baile Crouse, a Warrensburg native and WHS alumna who works as a hospital chaplain. Their family includes three adult children who also are WHS alumni.
