On August 17, 2021, the Board of Education approved the Warrensburg R-VI Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan (see below).  The Plan will be reviewed and revised as needed no less than every six months.

Close Contacts and Quarantine Guidelines

Per Policy EBB, "Students or employees with communicable diseases that pose a risk of transmission in school or at school activities...will be managed as required by law and in accordance with guidelines provided by the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and local county or city health departments.  Such management may include, but is not limited to, exclusion from school".

DESE/DHSS Test To Stay (DESE/DHSS OPTION 4)
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) recently issued an updated Missouri School COVID-19 Operating Guidance (attached below). In the revised Guidance, DESE/DHSS now provides a  fourth option called Test to Stay for assessing COVID-19 exposure and defining close contacts and quarantines in the school setting.  For a quick informational look at how Test to Stay works, please click on the links provided to DESE/DHSS's graphic and flow chart.
