1/14/25The district was recently informed that one of the District’s software vendors (PowerSchool) recently experienced a breach of security, which led to unauthorized access of some customers’ data, including the personal information of students and staff members in school districts all across the country. Please know that the District takes the privacy and security of personal information seriously.
Across PowerSchool’s customer base, they have determined that some personally identifiable information (PII), such as social security numbers (SSN), was impacted for a portion of individuals. PowerSchool is actively investigating this incident to determine how the District was affected. In the coming days, and based on the information discovered, we will be taking all required steps to address the situation. Thank you for your patience while we continue to actively work to address this matter with PowerSchool.
