Parents as Teachers Preschool Screenings for tomorrow have been postponed. If you had an appointment, someone from PAT will reach out to you to reschedule.

Due to road conditions, especially in our out-of-town routes, Warrensburg Schools will not be in session on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. There will be no Adventure Club. Please continue to stay safe, and we hope to see everyone on Thursday.

Due to current road conditions and continued snow overnight and into tomorrow, there will be no school or Adventure Club for Warrensburg R-VI School District on January 9, 2024. Stay safe and stay warm!

Good Afternoon Warrensburg Families -
The winter storm has arrived earlier than anyone predicted. As such we are dismissing school early. The secondary schools (high school, middle school, WACC, and Reese) will dismiss at 2:00pm for buses. Student drivers are dismissing IMMEDIATELY and will be on their way home.
All elementary schools will dismiss about 30 minutes earlier than normal pending the return of our buses to the schools. Please understand we will need flexibility today as our buses will be going slower than usual. The roads are hazardous, and we want everyone to get home safe.
Parents may arrive at any time to pick up their child starting now. There is NO ADVENTURE CLUB tonight, and there are NO EVENTS for tonight (practices, games, etc.). We will have more information coming about tomorrow after this passes and we can evaluate road conditions after any plowing and road treatments.
Thank you for your patience as we work together through this challenge.

Thank you to First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg for your donations of hats and gloves to our students!

Happy High Five Friday! Today's word was enthusiasm. Our Martin Warren and Ridge View students had a lot of enthusiasm to finish out the week! #tigerpride

Our amazing art teachers in the district have their work in an exhibit at the Warrensburg Community Center. Please take a moment to stop by there and see their work during the month of January.

The Warrensburg School District received a Technology Innovation Grant from Northrop Grumman for $5,000.

Students from Warrensburg High School participated in their annual holiday store. Students made crafts and sold them throughout the week.

Middle School students from Life 101 and PLTW presented to the board Tuesday evening.

Eleven graduates from Reese rang the bell yesterday. They graduate today and we wish them well in their futures! #tigerpride

Students in Ms. Snell's Pathways to Teaching and Advanced Child Development classes had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the University of Central Missouri. Students heard about the variety of education programs at UCM and the various opportunities and experiences available through UCM.

Ian Roberts from Stealwerx at Whiteman AFB came to Mrs. Potter's class to work with our 6th graders on using their microbits to radio broadcast to one another. This was so much fun for our 6th graders to learn a little more in depth coding using the micro bits!

The phone line has been reconnected at the Bus Depot. Thanks for your patience as the issue was resolved.
