Sterling Families,
Our very last day with students is TODAY - Thursday, May 25th. Please note, this is an early out day and transportation changes will need to be called in no later than 12:30 p.m.
We would like to celebrate the accomplishments of our amazing 5th graders who will be moving on to middle school. For this reason, we will be continuing with the "5th Grade Clap Out" tradition and welcome 5th-grade families into the building to support this transition. Parents/families will be allowed to enter into the building at approximately 12:38 p.m. We will make an announcement for parents to come inside from the front lawn or south entrance. Parents/families will line the downstairs hallways for our parade of 5th graders. Bring your phones and tissues. :) When the "Clap Out" has concluded (approximately 1:00 p.m.), parents may sign their students out to take home. You will sign your 5th-grade student out from their homeroom class, off a roster that the classroom teacher will have. Parents, if you have a sibling in a lower grade that you are wanting to also check out, you will need to sign them out from the front office, after picking up your 5th-grade student. Please do not move around to the other classrooms to try to sign kids out in this manner, as they will not have rosters to do so.
Thanks guys! We have sure enjoyed your kiddos this year! We simply have the BEST families around!
